Hello, I'm Shannon, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 23 years of experience working with individuals, families, and groups.  I have dedicated my career to working with tweens, teens, young adults, and parents.  I specialize in navigating the complexities of various life transitions from early adolescence through parenthood.  I have expertise and a passion for helping people navigate the complexities of grief and loss.  I have also spent 13 years as a school social worker so I have a great understanding of navigating the educational system.

I am passionate about advocating for mental health and wellness and believe that a great partnership with a therapist can have a lasting impact on a person's life.  It is not easy to take the first step to start counseling, but it can be so rewarding and life-changing.  I look forward to walking alongside you on your journey to wellness.  My approach to counseling is authentic, supportive, and compassionate, while also pushing you to be the best version of yourself.

In my spare time, I love to spend time outdoors, run, read, spend time with my family and friends, and travel (especially to the beach).
