Some DKCCS therapists are fully EMDRIA-trained practitioners of EMDR therapy, an evidence-based treatment for trauma. EMDR therapy targets the trauma stored within the memory and reduces the stress responses associated with the memory. EMDR can allow a person to successfully resolve unhealed trauma.

Specialties
Our team provides psychiatric evaluations, medication management, counseling, coaching, and clinical supervision to support individuals, couples, and families across the lifespan through a wide range of life challenges. We offer specialized care for trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, perinatal and postpartum mental health, self-esteem issues, and experiences of spiritual abuse. We also guide clients through marital conflict, divorce, family dynamics, and the impact of abuse or neglect. Our team provides targeted treatment for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), complex trauma, dissociation, infidelity, and addiction (including alcohol, drugs, and pornography). In addition to traditional talk therapy, our practice integrates creative modalities like Expressive Arts and Art Therapy, whole-body wellness that considers how physical health impacts mental well-being, and practical skill-building in communication, conflict resolution, and anger management. To ensure accessible and aligned care for our community, we offer bilingual services in Spanish as well as faith-based counseling.
