I consider it a great privilege to partner with you on your healing journey, no matter where in that journey you may be. I truly believe everyone has the capacity to heal from brokenness; no one is beyond the reach of healing. I use my skills to help you achieve a life of wholeness and strongly believe in a personalized approach to therapy as we develop a partnership to meet your needs. As an EMDR therapist, I am passionate about helping people heal from traumatic pasts without having to relive distressing events. My training and personal healing have prepared me to attend to you as you move through the healing process.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Arizona, receiving my master’s in social work from Arizona State University. My undergraduate degree is in Social and Behavioral Sciences, and I hold a certificate in Family Communication, also from Arizona State. I worked with Mending the Soul Ministries as a volunteer facilitator beginning in 2010. This gave me the opportunity to work with groups as well as some individuals. I also had the privilege of being a facilitator trainer with MTS and had the opportunity to travel out-of-state to assist other organizations in training new facilitators.

I have many interests I pursue in my free time. I am an avid reader and love the animated discussions my book club has once a month. My husband and I enjoy taking surprise road trips, and my two adult sons are very happy they no longer have to go on surprise road trips. I love cooking, watching old movies, and enjoying a good laugh. Football season will find me yelling loudly and cheering for the Arizona Cardinals. I am also madly in love with 2 special rescue dogs, Skipper and Bailey.

My passion is helping others find the way toward a life of wellness. I believe we are all in the dark tunnel journey of life together. I hope you will allow me to bring the flashlight.
